Buildeezy Cookie Policy
Last updated: June 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how Buildeezy and its affiliated companies (including Buildeezy Pte Ltd and Buildnown LLC) (collectively “Buildeezy”, “we”, “us” or “our”) use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website www.buildeezy.com, our mobile applications (iOS and Android), and our WhatsApp-integrated services (collectively, the “Site”).
This Cookie Policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides further detail on how we collect and process your personal data. By continuing to use the Site after being presented with our cookie notice, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this Policy, except where we rely on a different legal basis.
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and provide you with a better experience. Cookies are widely used by websites to make them work, improve efficiency, and provide information to the site owner.
In addition to cookies, we also use similar technologies such as:
- Web beacons (also called tracking pixels or clear GIFs): small transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that record when you view them.
- Local storage objects: data stored in your browser’s local storage that functions similarly to cookies but can store more data.
- SDKs and app tracking libraries: used within our mobile applications to collect usage data and support analytics.
- Session replay tools: anonymised recordings of user sessions used to improve usability and identify errors.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use the following categories of cookies:
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the operation of the Site. They enable core functionality such as security, login session management, and access to secure areas. Without these cookies, the Site cannot function properly. We do not require your consent to place these cookies as they are necessary for the performance of a contract with you or required by law.
3.2 Functional / Preference Cookies
These cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make (such as your preferred language, currency, or region) and provide enhanced, personalised features. They may also be used to provide services you have requested. These cookies are set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to the Site.
3.3 Analytics and Performance Cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use the Site, including which pages are visited most frequently and whether users receive error messages. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated or anonymised and is used solely to improve how the Site works. These cookies are set by us or by trusted third parties such as Google Analytics.
3.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies
These cookies are used to deliver advertisements that are relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and to help measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. They are usually placed by advertising networks such as Google Ads and Meta (Facebook) with the website operator’s permission. They remember that you have visited our Site and this information may be shared with other organisations such as advertisers. We only use these cookies with your prior consent.
3.5 Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third parties on our behalf to provide services to us (for example, real-time messaging, payment processing, or fraud detection). These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies which govern how they use the data collected through their cookies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third parties.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
The table below sets out the main cookies and similar technologies used on the Site:

This list is not exhaustive and may be updated from time to time as we add, change, or remove features on the Site.
5. Cookies and Tracking in Our Mobile Applications and WhatsApp
Our iOS and Android mobile applications use mobile SDKs and analytics libraries (including Firebase Analytics) that function similarly to cookies to collect device identifiers, usage data, and crash reports. These are used to improve app performance, diagnose errors, and understand how users interact with the app.
Our WhatsApp-based services operate through the WhatsApp Business API and are subject to Meta’s data practices. We do not place cookies in WhatsApp conversations, but metadata relating to your interactions (such as message timestamps and delivery status) may be processed by Meta in accordance with their policies. Please refer to Meta’s Privacy Policy for further information.
6. How Long Do Cookies Last?
The length of time a cookie remains on your device depends on whether it is a “session” cookie or a “persistent” cookie:
- Session cookies are temporary and are deleted from your device automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a fixed period (which varies by cookie) or until you delete them manually.
The specific duration of each cookie we use is set out in the table in Section 4 above.
7. Managing and Controlling Cookies
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can exercise your cookie preferences in the following ways:
7.1 Cookie Preference Centre
When you first visit our Site, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies by category. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of our website.
7.2 Browser Controls
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that if you disable strictly necessary cookies, some parts of the Site may not function correctly. The following links provide guidance on cookie settings for common browsers:
- Google Chrome: chrome://settings/cookies
- Mozilla Firefox: about:preferences#privacy
- Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies
7.3 Opting Out of Analytics
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
7.4 Opting Out of Interest-Based Advertising
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through:
- The Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) opt-out page: www.aboutads.info/choices
- The Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out page: www.networkadvertising.org/choices
- The European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA): www.youronlinechoices.eu
Please note that opting out of interest-based advertising does not mean you will stop seeing ads. It means the ads you see will be less targeted to your interests.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers include a “Do Not Track” (DNT) feature that signals to websites that you do not wish to have your activity tracked. Buildeezy does not currently respond to browser DNT signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for how such signals should be interpreted. However, you can use the controls described in Section 7 to manage your cookie preferences.
9. International Transfers of Cookie Data
Some of the third-party service providers whose cookies we use are based outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where data collected through cookies is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law, including through the use of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
10. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies and tracking technologies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on our Site and, where appropriate, by notifying you via email or through a banner on the Site. We encourage you to review this Cookie Policy periodically.
